Guiding the visitor through the whole Spain pavilion

RSB has been the technology agency chosen to design and build the APP, the communications server and part of the interactive installations for the Spanish pavilion at the Dubai International Expo.

The challenge has been to design and define an app that would let the visitor walk through the pavilion and all of its rooms, informing them at any moment which experience they could enjoy next.

The apps and interactive installations on the tablets are part of the 'Forest of Intelligence' experience, designed to make visitors reflect on sustainable habits and to show — through projections, mappings and interactive 3D scale models — what is being done from Spain on the scientific and technological side.

To achieve not just awareness but also a real wow-factor, RSB has integrated into the app Augmented Reality experiences and synchronisation elements with the room, its projectors and triggers (tablets), plus automated navigation through beacons that prompts the user with the next experience they can enjoy.

RSB has developed a fully immersive experience where the user is able to visit room after room feeling that every piece of technology is interconnected. A great concept and storyline for this exhibition with flawless execution from every team involved. Thanks to all of it, the Spanish pavilion has been the winner in the best exhibition category at the World Expo Awards by Exhibitor magazine.
