La Casa Encendida wants to transform its website
La Casa Encendida defines itself, among other things, as an open and dynamic venue whose greatest challenge is adapting to global change and anticipating new social and cultural needs. Dynamism, constant adaptation and anticipation must be embedded both in the institution's organisation and in its content programming — and therefore also in the relationship with the user, in communication.
The context has accelerated several transformations that were already brewing at La Casa Encendida, including content programming. The physical venue, La Casa Encendida in Madrid, is no longer the only stage; sometimes it's not even the most important one. The institution works on an on/offline hybrid model that is already up and running and attracts interest from users outside Madrid. Communication and the user relationship follow that model shift across several channels, but it became clear that the main tool and channel — www.lacasaencendida.es — which should integrate or be the meeting point of every other channel, was not offering the features needed to meet the goals set.
Strategic approach
RSB has tackled a significant challenge like this through an indispensable first phase — a discovery phase to run a detailed project analysis and a full functional definition. In this phase RSB has set concrete goals and the entire digital strategy to follow.
This upfront strategic consulting aims to understand and analyse all the client's needs in order to define the digital communications, content and digital marketing strategy.
MVP, content tree and full wireframes
This first consulting phase of the project closes with the delivery of a complete functional definition for the MVP, the information trees and wireframes for every section of the site, both desktop and mobile.
